How to Get There

HondoHondo Tented Camp is located near the main entrance of Udzungwa Mountains National Park, making access simple and convenient:

  • By Road: Approximately 5–6 hours from Dar es Salaam via Mikumi, with most of the journey on well-maintained highways.
  • From Mikumi Town: It is around a 1.5–2 hour drive to the camp.
  • By Air: Scheduled flights from Dar es Salaam or Zanzibar to Mikumi Airstrip, followed by a short road transfer to the camp.
