Arusha National Park experiences a temperate climate with mild temperatures throughout the year. The dry season, from June to October, is marked by warm days and cool nights.
During the wet seasons, March to May and November to December, rainfall rejuvenates the park’s vegetation, creating a lush environment. Average daytime temperatures range from 25–30°C (77–86°F), while nighttime temperatures can drop to 10–15°C (50–59°F). The park’s varied altitudes contribute to a mix of climatic conditions, from tropical to cool and crisp.
Arusha National Park is conveniently located just 25 kilometers (15 miles) from Arusha city, making it easily accessible by road. Visitors can reach the park in under an hour from Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport, which is 35 kilometers (22 miles) away.
